When we go and watch a movie, we hope that it is a good one. Whether it is or not, that is another story. Watching a movie come alive is what makes it worth the while. Whether the actors are well trained or believable is one aspect of  a good movie. I know that if I feel uncomfortable when watching a movie because of the acting, the movie will get ruined for me. Another thing that I look for is for the storyline and what it is trying to portray and based on that, I see if the movie did that.

I read an article by a movie critic named Scott and he criticized the movie Good Night, and Good Luck, the movie that was written and directed by George Clooney. In this article, he starts by giving a little background about what the movie is based on which is needed of course. It tells readers how the movie started to kind of give away whether the criticism is good or bad. The articles goes about to describe each main character and what they stand for. After, the movie as a whole is looked at and said to be good or bad.

If I were to criticize a movie, I would pick the best seller book “A Walk To Remember” by Nicholas Sparks.  I had read the book and I absolutely loved it. By far ,it is my favorite book and after the movie made, the movie became my favorite movie. I know, go figure right? When the movie came out, I was a little hesitant to watch it because I didn’t want the movie to ruin the images that the book had put in my mind already. But when I did see the film, I was not left disappointed.

The movie captured the book so well. The actors were exceptional. The two main characters, Jaime and Landon which were played by Shane West and Mandy Moore, made the audience fall in love with them.  The story came out as it shows two young people overcoming differences in a small town to be brought together only to be taken away from each other once again. It is a heartwarming movie and based on a true story. Everyone should watch it.
