What is a blog? A blog is somewhere where people could write and express their thoughts. By doing that, bloggers could also get in touch with people over the world. Being that I myself am new to the whole blogging experience needed to learn what blogging was and how it worked. The one thing that I had to think about was how to promote my blog. I mean what good would it be if you have a blog and no one comes to your site. True, I have to do this for school but I want to be able to draw in readers. So I went on-line and saw some other people’s blog and saw their tips about how to promote your blogs. Its better to go to others with more experience and a successful blog, like the one I went to who was Dosh Dosh. This girl had so much success and she had reached 10,000 subscribers.

One main thing that I learned and it is a no brainer, that what you write will help you promote your blog. We all know that but we sometimes don’t do it. Choosing what topics you write about gets people’s attention. Sometimes people will like if you write about what happened in your day if it is interesting but it gets tiring after a while. So therefore, a blogger has to choose careful the subjects in which they write.  

People look for interesting blogs to read and for someone who knows what they are writing about. If a person just writes to fill in the space and says nothing in those words, then it is useless for people to even bother with your blog. A successful blog has to be entertaining for others so they will keep coming back and it has to have some sort of information. I know for my self that sometimes when i research something, mostly I get people’s blogs popping up with the topic that I needed. But I will not read it if it sounds that it is bull. I can tell when someone knows what they are talking about and therefore read the info provided.

So taking what this first promotion blog is about, what you choose to write about will help with how many people come to your site. Choose something interesting and fun and informational. Write about something that you know well and not just something you don’t care about. People come to your site because they expect our words to have credibility.
