What is going on with these men who run for office and then do something so wrong that completely ruins their image? Yet another scandal is revealed as we all found out that our own New York governor Eliot Spitzer has been involved in a ring of prostitution. I must admit that it came as a shock when I heard it on NY1…I thought it was a joke! I mean wouldn’t you? The news said that the NYTimes were the ones to report it, so right away I realized that it might be true.

     Eliot Spitzer is our Governor and people don’t usually think that something like that should be happening. We chose representatives to help us and make issues better, not be involved in scandals. He ran for Governor and then decides to do something so sick and knowing that it is bound to come out in the end.

     Here is a married man which three teenage daughters for God’s sake. Then he has the nerve to go up and say that it is a private matter. NO! Its not when you are the governor and decide to do something that is looked down upon. That is who we choose to be our Governor. Why would one man decide to do that? Maybe its the power they get after getting elected but someone should teach these men that the more famous or power one has, then the closer people look to find all the juicy secrets.

     Another example of politics and scandal was Bill Clinton. I loved him as a president and he would have been a great one in my mind if he hadn’t had a scandal to his name. He was linked to Monica Lewinsky and it will be remembered forever for him and it will probably be written down in future history books. Although Clinton denied anything, people will always wonder even though they do know…especially since Hillary Clinton has somewhat said that she forgave him…hint hint right?

     Just as Hillary Clinton stood by her husband, it looked like the wife of Eliot Spitzer is standing by him. Or is she? As he was giving his apology, she was by his side but to me, she looked uncomfortable, very much so if I must say. But maybe they are doing it for show, maybe they don’t know if Spitzer is resigning. Just in case he doesn’t, they need to have a united front…if his wife and family can stay with him, it wont look that bad.

     That is what we are all waiting for…will Spitzer resign? I one am dying to see what he will do. It has to come to a point where these men that think they are powerful have to realize that they will get caught if they are doing something wrong. If you are in the public eye especially in politics, there is certain code you have to uphold because it is the people that make you and it will be the people that break you. We don’t want an official that is married and has kids doing things that are disgusting. So why are politics starting to become connected with scandal more and more throughout the years? That we wont know but stay tuned because history is bound to repeat itself and another political scandal is around the corner.

     As I am sitting in my living room, I think about what my blog can be about. I have to keep writting and writting but I have to have some common ground on my choice of topic. But it is not that easy for me to choose . I don’t want to have to make a choice and limit myself. And that is exactly how I look at it…limiting me on how I can express myself.

     As I read about niche blogging, I thought “well what can I choose”? I realized that I can not choose! I want to be able to draw in different kinds of people with different issues. I am not a very decisive person about anything…Literally! I mean over the past couple of months I went from Blue Black hair to Light Brown with highlights and then i wnated to go back to black but then last minute, I changed my mind and a week ago, I made my hair Dark  Brown with hightlights. You see??!! I am very undecisive.

     So when it comes to my blog, I want to be able to have fun with it. I want to be able to talk to all sorts of people about anything. I even wrote a blog about my fiancee and his car. There are girls out there that can relate to that and would maybe want to comment on that and how it feels to have a crazy significant other that is a car fanatic. I also wrote about the starvation problem amongst women and someone who might want to talk about it can do so in my blog.

     I cant just pick a topic and stick with it. I have so much going on in my life right now with school and family and a new role as a fiancee and I want to share my everyday with everyone. I want to be able to have something happen to me and just write about it. What about with what goes on around the world? I can write about politics one day and the next write about stars in Hollywood. I find pleasure in moving around with my posts.

     Blogging is a new thing to me so I am still searching to get it right but I know that there will be people who will appreciate my blog and the fact that it will probably not have a niche. It can be open to anything. I take trips a lot and I will definitely want to write about the crazy experiences because trust me, a lot happens.

     So do we have to have a blog niche? I dont think so because I know that I dont want to have to be limited. The best things to write about is about what we desire. To write free about anything. Blogs are supposed to be fun and that is my kind of fun. I have never ever done anything like this. I never even thought of it but being that I have to have a blog for school, I might as well just run with it and enjoy it. LETS SEE THE TURN OUT, SHALL WE?
